Employers connect to college students from (Prairie View A&M, Houston Community College, Texas Southern University, Rice University, UofH, Lone Star College, San Jacinto College, Houston Baptist, and the University of St. Thomas) and greater Houston residents.

GROW Fest provides exposure to green resources and opportunities that educate and inspire disadvantaged youth and communities to effectively engage in resilient and sustainable practices to enhance their lifelong learning skills for the improvement of quality of life. GROW seeks to increase Black and Latino residents’ representation in green careers by providing pathways to paid training, free certifications, education resources, and career and social services. GROW and its partners have a collaborative regional workforce training solution –through mentoring training and wraparound support.
